SNAP-EBT
at the Market

The Capital City Public Market participates in the USDA,

Food and Nutrition Service, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program). Food assistance participants can use their P-EBT card to purchase SNAP tokens to be used like cash on healthy, local food.

HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM:

  1. Find the red Market Information booth (near the restrooms on the Grove Plaza).

  2. Swipe your QUEST P-EBT card for the requested amount and enter your pin.

  3. Receive the wooden tokens in $1 increments to be used at participating booths, just like cash.

DOUBLE UP FOOD BUCKS:

Double Up Food Bucks provides participants in the SNAP program with a one-to-one match to purchase healthy, locally-grown fruits and vegetables.
